Ruth Teague, an Arkansas Master Naturalist and volunteer at Ozark Natural Science Center, holds a three-toed box turtle named Willy Thursday, May 12, 2022, for students from Shiloh Christian School in Springdale to see during an Earth Day event at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks in Fayetteville. The event featured more than 10 information stations featuring many different civic and conservation-focused organizations in an event that continues today. The event was held this week instead of on Earth Day because of testing that occurs in April. Visit nwaonline.com/220513Daily/ for today's photo gallery.
